SWARM featured work by 5 female artists- Anna Alcock, Hannah Ford, Miyuki Kasahara, Alke Schmidt and Sandie M. Sutton- responding to the crisis facing pollinating insects. Featuring painting, printmaking, textiles and sculpture, the work in the exhibition was based on new scientific research regarding the alarming decline of pollinators including bees, hoverflies, moths, wasps, flies and butterflies.

The exhibition, was envisaged as both a call to arms and a celebration of these wondrous and hard-working insects. It was held at Vestry House Museum, Walthamstow, from June 2019 to January 2020.
